Slow Food Luau ~ May 2, 2010

Many thanks to Slow Food Shasta Cascade for putting on such a great Luau here at Llano Seco Rancho on May 2nd. The menu, comprised almost entirely of locally grown food, was amazing in its taste and beauty. I'm so pleased that the weather cooperated and that we got to enjoy such a magnificent evening under the towering oaks next to the fire pit and tiki torches.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to experience great people and good music over an amazing meal in a wonderful place. The kids running around on the grass and the smiles of everyone I talked to pleased me greatly. A special thanks to Amber Bailey and the volunteers who, along with the entire Slow Food Shasta Cascade group, made the evening delightful for over 225 guests. I am planning on doing it again next year!
